Something more excited happen: Madden NFL 17, the most recent edition of the game, will be added to the EA Access games vault. EA announced via Twitter that the game will be added to the vault on February 24. The news was announced via the official EA Access Twitter. Here's the tweet:
So there you have it, exactly one week from today Madden NFL 17 will be available in full on the EA Access Vault. Madden NFL 17 will also be the last in the franchise to use the Ignite engine as the series will move over to Frostbite for the next entry this fall.
Although this version of the game came out last year, Madden NFL 18 has yet to release, and likely won’t until August (which is when Madden games typically release). This means that EA Access subscribers will actually be able to get some time with the latest game in the series before the new game comes out, which is a rarity for this program.
Madden NFL 17 is just one of the many other high-profile EA titles available to download in the EA Access vault. Some of the other games included are Dragon Age: Inquisition, Battlefield 4, Need for Speed, and Star Wars Battlefront.
