EA Sports NFL 18 New Features, Glitches, Release Date, Tweaks

Every year EA Sports brings a gift for all American Football fans with plenty of cool new features. And it’s the second best selling sports simulation video game on consoles PS4 & Xbox One. Now the countdown to Madden NFL 18 has already begun, but we don’t know yet what aspects are developer focusing on. Now we compile a wishlist of NFL 18 in advance.

Release Date – EA Sport has a fixed pattern to publish the new version of its ball sports that the release date of NFL franchise will always be published on fourth Tuesday of August every year. (Fourth Tuesday of September every year for FIFA franchise)

Release Date List:

Madden NFL 15 – August 26, 2014 – 4th Tuesday

Madden NFL 16 – August 25, 2015 – 4th Tuesday

Madden NFL 17 – August 23, 2016 – 4th Tuesday

Madden NFL 18 – August 22, 2017 – 4th Tuesday

Obviously, the NFL 18 will be published on August 22, 2017. (Not yet confirmed officialiy)

 

Game Play – the AI still need to reinforced, both on offensive and defensive. AI also should be injected with more human-like actions, such as emotional changes on strategies. Some gamers expect that AI should learn to organize effective man-to-man coverage.

Cover Athlete – The current cover character Rob Grokowski has been well-known accompany with the salesment of Madden NFL 17 around the world. His 18.8 yards per reception average was the best on the team and his receiving yards were a school record for a tight end. In pre-draft evaluations revealed in May 2016, Raiders scouts had rated Gronkowski as the ‘best all-around player in the draft’. JJ Watt have chance to be on the next version of Madden franchise this year for he has became the first player in NFL history to record two 20+ sack seasons in a career. Also, Watt is known for his altruistic demeanor and is the president and founder of the Justin J. Watt Foundation.

Frostbite engine – EA confirmed Madden 18 biggest change is that the game was developed upon the Frostbite engine. This means better graphics, new gameplay options and the potential for a more involved story. We will see a major change in Madden 18 graphics this year.

Platform – Due to the graphics improvement and new game engine adoption, old generation console such as PS3, Xbox One won’t receive the tickets of the Madden NFL 18 feast. If we see the older consoles get a new Madden 18 thie year, it must be a slimmed version. PC users shouldn’t worried about this issue.
